    Default Pixel Quilt-The Wave

Just finished The Wave. I decided not to add borders, but rather a brown binding to simulate a frame. I pieced the batik squares on my Bernina 830. Lots of little threads. Then, I used my Q16 to quilt with a stipple ruler. Only broke 1 needle this time-near the end, darn it. Finally, I used my Bernette77 to auto-stitch waves to secure the binding! It is about 65"X70".

Snails trail is one of my favorite blocks, so I'm very impressed that you worked in so many snails trail variations in your quilt. The result is stunning!

TY. I follow a cross stitch pattern to create 3/4" pixels.

Love the quilt. I think if you had added borders, it would have detracted from the design. I wouldn't have the patience to cut and sew all of those little squares.

    Cheers,
    Shari
