Default Class by Rusty’s Featherweights

Last Saturday I attended a basic maintenance class on the FW by Rusty’s Featherweights. I thought it was very informative and came home with lots of information, confidence, and a few very affordable supplies. I’ve watched videos and I have a book, but having a live person to answer questions and explain the hows and whys was so much better for my way of learning. If you want to learn and have access to one of he classes, I highly recommend her.

She also paints machines, but has a wait time of about 2 years. Maybe someday I can get a paint job. I’d love to paint it teal metallic!

On that note, I found out that the owner Terry’s Painted Featherweights passed away on Christmas Day. I knew he and his wife had COVID but I didn’t know he had succumbed. His daughter intends to carry on the business. I’m sure it’s doubly hard for her since he was Dad and coworker.

I took a FW maintenance class soon after I received my first FW. It was great and has been very helpful going forward on both the FW and the 301.

I have a FW that I'd love to have painted but I'm still looking for someone within driving distance of me. So far, I've struck out. I'd love to have one of mine painted Beryl Metallic to match my 66 Mustang.

Any autobody paint shop can paint your machine and you can order the decals
