Finished piecing and made the quilt sandwich. Marked it with washable Crayola washable markers. Quilted and finally bound! Into the wash. Timer called me to get it and OMQ!!! PINK MARKINGS DID NOT COME OUT. I've used this color before so must be the finish on the fabric.
Grabbed spray bottle of Zout! Sprayed the markings, back into the wash. Longest 40 minutes of my life. Our Walmart doesn't carry it but I use it so much we ordered a case online.

My grandkids use to draw on their white tee shirts with washable markers. I knew which colors need longer time in the wash. I set the washer to soak and that solved, washing away all the color. Crayon Ultra Washable markers are the ones I use. I buy one color boxes from Amazon. Blue, Red, and Black. For dark fabric I use a white chalk pencil
