Can you find a pack of these in different sizes at the hardware store, or some of the cheap variety stores have them too.

Amazon? eBay? If you have a old one and can compare the size, a rubber tire from another sewing machine or made for another purpose will work.

You might want to read thru this thread. It might give you some insights as to other machines that use the same parts. Old Elgin Sewing Machine

Have you tried sewingpartsonline.com? I put in BOBBIN WINDER TIRE on the search and many types came up. I dont know much about the website, but sometimes when i am looking for a replacement part for something and it looks like they have a variety - i just email the shop and give them my make and model #. Im sure like many places there are cross reference charts that we know nothing about that they could check to find the right thing for your machine.

i dunno, maybe its a shot in the dark but worth a try? I thought i read somewhere that there was some association with the Viking brand (maybe after the fact of your year model) but maybe thats another piece of the puzzle? I sure feel for you trying to find a part you need for an older/vintage machine cuz i have been there myself at times. I was fortunate in that mine were Singers so maybe a little easier to find. But i gotta believe that you arent the only person in the whole world - or on the world wide web to need one!

    Good luck!
