I fixed it though, and it went on much better the proper way! LOL

But that gives me an idea.... I know I get a bit anal about perfect points, perhaps we should have a wee "booby prize" for things like that? Best blunder of the week or something? It might take some of the pressure off.

When we do a "night owl hoot" at my local quilt shop, where we sew like madwomen till midnight, they do spot prizes for the best blunder... it's usually chocolate which is a great incentive to sew badly! LOL
i'd be game, would the group vote on the best blunder? i don't think i should decide since i'm the biggest blunder around.

what would the prize be - something nice or something funny?

I like the idea of a group vote.... I'll send something from here, seeing as it was my idea! LOL

Cutebuns posted a photo of one of her triangles that didn't work, and it's nice to see someone with such skill still has things that don't work. :-)

To Sherree, Jennifer and ButterflySpain - I was just going thru the thread to see if I posted my blocks yet...not, so will get to that...but i realized I did not comment on your blocks...

so, I'll just give my collective WOW here...you all did fabulous.

Sherree., love the red/white/blue...so Americana and will be such a lovely tribute to Jane. I hope she can see us all in some way. Wish we knew one of her relatives so they could burst with pride over their civil war ancestor...
