I was watching a quilting show on tv and seen this quilt and am hoping someone will know the name of the pattern. The quilt was made using strips. The strips were about 10 squares long (not sure on the dimensions of the squares). The strips did not line up moving down the quilt. You took the strips and shifted them over a half a square on each row. The one that was on tv was done using light colors and going into dark blues.

I've just started quilting so I don't know all the terms yet to use to explain it. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about.

It was probably a Bargello quilt. My avatar is an example of the one I did last summer.

It's a Bargello. My avatar is also one that I did. It was on 'Quilt in a Day' with Eleanor Burns.

Could it have been an offset tube quilt?

Sounds like a bargello. Those are fun to make.
