Does anyone have the newest Brother embroidery only machine, Brother 780D? I was interested in its performance and price. I can't seem to find the price anywhere. TIA

    Hi,

I think this machine has been available for at least 2 years.

I also think that brother have lost the franchise to produce disney machines so if you want one, I would get it whist they still have older stock. I don't think that the new machine will not contain disney capability.

    Hugs

    Caroline

    So far, I'm in love.

I've made two purses, a notions basket, and now I'm working on a set of bibs for a nephew due in august.

I love to sit and watch it work still -- I'm told I'll eventually let it run and work on other projects too...

When I called Ken's Vaccum & Sewing they told me this was the newest available embroidery only machine. I believe it because it has a usb port in addition to a memory card slot -- so far I've downloaded stuff from emblibrary.com and stitched it on my machine without having to buy software.

    I'm very happy!

Does anyone know the price for this machine in the us? Here in Canada it is $1299, I not so sure I ready to spend that just for Disney.

All the other Brother machines you can download disney and use them, you just can not stick a disney card in them.

Does this machine have a Flash drive port as well as the port for computer conectivity?

I have the 270D & want to upgrade.
But do I keep this machine, buy reader (which isn't cheap) to download?? I have a Mac so that's a problem too because would have to buy software to download on it.
My son has a PC that I could use OR do I buy another Brother that has the USB & card slot??? Decisions, decisions!!!!
I'd really like a 5x7 area (this 270D & a lot (U have to watch the models) have only 4x4").
I really don't want the Disney anymore since my GK are bigger.

Thanks for any info or advice?......
