I used 1930 Repo Fabrics, needleturn on the applique & hand quilted the blocks. The patterns are from the book : "The Ultimate Sunbonnet Sue"
Beautiful quilt. I love the quilting. I always have trouble deciding how to quilt it. Good choice.

Hi Riley, just saw your reply, do you still live around here? IF so maybe we could meet sometime for lunch and talk about the quilts we are working on are want to make. That would be great fun, don't you think. Take care and have a great day.

Granny P, I think it would be a great amount of fun though unfortunately, I have not lived that way in over 50 years. I was raised down there though I don't get back down that way much any more since my parents & most of my family are gone now.

Thanks for thinking you would like to meet. I would have enjoyed such! Riley

That is just darling! I love the way you matched the block borders to the SB Sues! Your work looks top notch!

The most beautiful Sunbonnet Sue I have ever seen! A great job. Are the roller skates wheels made from yo-yo's? you should enter this in a quilt show. I'm sure it would win. Wonderful job.

This reminds me of one my Mom made years ago. I love the Sunbonnet Sue pattern, but have no patience for applique.
I know the g-granddaughter will love it.
