Thought you might like to see these - I photographed them today as the weather was so fine.

The 'Jewel box' quilt was interesting.

The 'Bob' one, I have made several times before but I put a different border on this time and I love it - its amazing the differece a small thing can make - isn't it?

I love them! How was it to make the jewel box? I was just looking at that book the other day and thinking I should use up some of my stash to do one.

It was easy - after all the blocks are just two four patches and two half square triangles - add sashing, posts and a border and job done!!

I used mostly scraps from my stash and I bought the green. I used loads of bits left over from the quilt I made my friend which I posted last week!

"Bob" is very cute and I love the jewel box. Excellent job on both quilts.

I was just going to say do you have 'Bob' in the States and then saw where you are. They are lovely quilts though! My great nephew who is 3 would love a Bob quilt like that!!
