Our local quilt shop where I've been taking my quilting classes has been giving out "birthday bucks" for the money you spent. For every $10 spent, you received $10 in birthday bucks. Today was the owners birthday ... and she had an auction where you could spend your birthday bucks.

I was able to buy something at the auction (I basically "won" it).

I got down to almost spending all the birthday bucks I had when I said... "I want that kit ...don't make me beg for birthday bucks".

And here's the kit I got :D

I'm so excited. I'm putting it away for now as I don't feel like I'm able to do this kit justice.

Yay! You are going to have one beautiful quilt! And I think you'll really enjoy French braids. They're easier than they look. You are one lucky duck!
