I have this thing for vintange machines.
Found this one on a local classifieds site.

Is it worth the $75? Any opinions on the machine itself?

    thx!

I really don't know anything about it, but it looks neat!! Has a lot of attachments with it. I'd say if you want it - go for it!! :-D

I have bought three of them over the years in the $50 to $75 range. They are great machines. All of mine needed a lot of cleaning and new oil and grease to get them loosened up to sew properly. The grease and oil inside tends to get thick/hard if the machine hasn't been used in many years. The price is fine, be prepared to clean it up. The manual will show where to put new grease and oil. You might get hooked on it, the machines sew a nice stitch.

Price is not to bad, try to see if they will take less.
If you take the machine, read the manual about oiling before you do anything. Turn the wheel by hand a few time after oiling, don't try to force the motor give the oil time to seek thur. Keep up posted.

I too would buy it if you want it, trying to get them to come down on the price may get you no where. If you really want it go for it !!!
