My wife and I were talking about the area our property is in and wondering about flooding and so forth, and she pulls this on me.....

I told her that we will never have to worry about if flooding on top of the ridge it is on but we might have to worry about tornado damage. Then she said "If this keeps up we might have to worry about mudslides".

The house is a tri level built in the side of a hill. The first floor is at the top of the hill and it drops levels as it goes into the hill on the backside. Its about a 300ft drop off into the holler on this side of the ridge.

I think I am going to try and get up there this week after some water recedes in that area and see if it is still there. :hunf:

Just what you needed another thing to worry about. I hope your home is still standing.

Billy and everyone else, thank you for all your updates on the weather. I'm so glad everyone here is OK.

I hope you can get to your other house soon and really hope that's just fine.

I just put TWC on now and they are covering the oil slick now, but I'll keep it on to follow the storms and hope that everyone stays safe.

It should be okay, I am more worried about everyone else in the Tennessee, Kentucky areas that are having to deal with all of this now.

You guys keep posting here so we can get updates and know that you are okay!!!

Need prayers. My DD an DM are heading out to the Carolina's. My DD is a truck driver and he has no choice but to go. Any way he decides to drive is not good, he will have to drive right thru these storms. Thank you. Carrie

Hope they make it safe and sound. Keep us updated. My cable has been out all morning so have been unable to see the damage except what was posted on here.

Glad you are all safe. Hope nobody has to much damage.

Let the rains and winds STOP!!

:!:

We'll keep watching and praying for all of you!

We have had the sirens go off here in the city 2 weekends in a row. Last week, we had a tornado skip through not far from my area. I watch the guy across the street, he is a ham radio operator, when I can't see him on his front porch, I go hide out!
