This was actually a stroke of genius on your friend's part since baby's see contrasts and lines best in the first months. This baby will have lots of things to draw his/her attention.

I too made bumper pads of black and white designs for our grandchild. It works, he loved looking at the patterns! All of those pale greens, blues, yellows and pinks have little or no interest for new babies.

Your work is gorgeous and I would not like to have paid what it is all worth.

OH! I really like that! You really did some beautiful work there! Very creative, most people wouldnt think of that color combination for a baby room, I love it when we think outside of the box!

Beautiful!!

My son chose a black crib for my GS in my spare bedroom. Now after seeing the awesome job you did I need to make a B & W quilt for the trundle bed that shares the room with the crib. LOL
