My 85 year old dad is visiting from CA, and my cousin scheduled him to take the Honor Flight to DC this Saturday so he can see the war memorial.
She is going on the flight as a Guardian. She also went last year with one of my dad's brothers. Her dad was also my dad's brother, and she wanted her dad to go, but he died unexpectedly two years ago, and then her husband died two weeks later, also unexpectedly. She is still having a very hard time. I'm so pleased she is able to go with my dad.

I'm so glad your dad was able to go. My father in law from Cleveland went last year. What a great program!

Our school is collecting money to send as many as we can. So far over $5000 has been collected.
