    I started quilting when I retired 2 years ago. So far I have only done lap sized quilts for local charities our guild supports. I have taken two classes and have the tops from both pieced and ready to quilt. Last week I bought a Viking Platinum 770Q machine (slightly used) so I am ready to start practicing for finishing my quilts. I plan to spend some time learning how to use the machine before I ever put one of my quilts under the needle. I am excited about having this opportunity to learn from other more-experienced quilters. :)
