There are several major faults in the northeast. I've felt small ones several years ago. Nothing like this today.

We felt it in Southwestern Ontario. The report I just saw said there was one in Ottawa that was felt from Montreal to Michigan. Craziness.

Wow. This site is better than Foxnews at keeping people on top of everything that's happening. I'm glad you're all right.

Debbie, who works upstairs, felt it (things were rattling on her desk). She grabbed her computer keyboard, then thought she should look for a train. (The tracks that run by our shop are abandoned.)

Then she said she thought to see if my husband was walking by.

!!

(He's not THAT chubby...)

Those of us who were downstairs didn't notice a thing.

I felt it, I live in Montreal.

I got excited when I though it was an earthquake, but it never is for real,so at first I thought it was the fan on my laptop going crazy, then when I moved the laptop everything kept shaking, so I though it might be a bloody big truck, but it wasn't, then I though I must be crazy, lol!

A few seconds later everyone was updating their Facebook status about the quake. So I'm not totally insane, right~

I live about a mile from the Buffalo/Niagara airport, I didn't feel anything but was sleeping all day. Bummer!

My son, who was home at the time, was upstairs in the 3rd floor attic, and reports that the house started creaking and one of the bookcases started shaking, but nothing fell off.
