they don't live far but I don't get to see her as much as I should! Three of the kids and I went today though. We all had such a good time! Her dh was off work and we all went to lunch, walked around Tractor Supply and just visited. She had some major seizures though, usually she only has them at night but Bill (her dh) said that lately she's been having them during the day too. I hate seeing her like that! She doesn't even know she has them. They don't have any kids due to her health and my kids love them to death. So I'm planning that from now on I am going to go at least 1x a month and spend the day with her.

Spend all the time you can spare... it will be worth it

Has she seen her doctor lately ? Sounds like she needs a check up for the meds

Definitely spend all the time you can with her. My sister is just now retiring and I intend to quilt with her at least once a month. She has a bad heart, not really bad, but has two stints already and is 58. Anytime your health changes, you must notify and go see your doctor. Don't take a chance because early detection could help her situation. Glad you got to visit. Hope you are still enjoying your tv now with your DH and kids. ((((((HUGS)))))))

her doc says there is nothing they can do about the seizures....we are thankful they are not worse although they do seem to be getting worse as the years go on. She has Systemic Lupus erythematosus...one of the worst cases they have seen at Duke her doc said. It nearly killed her 13 years ago. Since then they have kept it under control. She is 8 years younger than me. And yes Debbie he is enjoying it greatly...I could still take it or leave it though....thank you!
