I only have made 3 reg. quilts so far, some potholders and runners and one purse. What does one do with mini quilts? Lace

I only got up the courage to make miniatures when I saw the doll quilt exchange a year ago. Since then, I have made 6, 4 to exchange. I am finding I enjoy working with small pieces.

Mini's or doll quilts are a fun way to try out new techniques to see if you are going to like doing them or not.

If you have posted minis on the board make sure you add them to the Miniature virtual section! Just go to the bottom of the page and click on Add this section to a virtual section and add it to the Miniatures one! It is a great resource so be sure to check it out!

Yes I love to make minis. What do you do with them? Using a small safety pin(s) for hangers I will stick an old sewing machine needle in the wall and hang them in small spaces which need a little spot of color. Have one hanging on the end of my kitchen cupboard next to the sink. Make great candle mats. I have to watch the grands as those little girls will wrap a dolly in them--imagine that!

No I haven't and I'm intimidated by them. I want to make 2 after this quilt is finished. Gonna research and give it a try!
