Hi, I have been reading this post for a little while and I LOVE IT. I have learned so much already. I am new to sewing and quilting.

My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's recently and it has caused me a lot of panic. Quilting seems to be a good way for me to relax. I love it.

I am glad that you found something that helps you through this difficult time. My husband was diagnosed with Leukemia and I quilt sometimes for the same reason. It is like taking a mini vacation and heals my soul. Everyone on this board is so kind and supportive, Welcome.

Hi and welcome from Alaska! Sorry to hear about your hubby. Sewing is my best friend. Sometimes it gives me such strength. Hope it does the same for you.
