Hi,

Anyone out there going to the Quilt Festival in Long beach. It would be nice to meet some of you in person. The show is July 23-25.

YES!!! I hope to be able to go on Friday. Still need to finish all my arrangements and who else is going with me and what times etc, but my plan is to be there on Friday. We may make it a 2-day thing but don't know about that yet.

I hope to go on Friday too. Would love for a group of us to meet up, even if just for coffee.

I would love to go this year. However, it is our 50th anniversary on Aug. 13th and our kids are giving us a big party on July 24th. So I won't be going to Long Beach!!! Have fun.

Sounds like most of us are going on Friday. We should set up a time and place to meet.

I've never been. I assume they have an eating area. I like the idea of meeting for coffee inside the show. I plan on going early and spending allot of the day looking around. Did you see they have class on Thursday? I'm leaving on a road trip Friday night, I hope I can get a nice hand project at the show.

Last year there were 2 eating areas. There was one upstairs, near the entrance to the auditorium and the other was on the floor I think on the bottom far left corner from the stairs. I met a couple ladies last year and we ended up at both eating areas!!!
There are more food choices upstairs. Maybe we can meet up there? As you come up the stairs, the food area is to the left. It might be easier to meet on the right hand side because there will be less people milling about. There was an info desk to the right and then behind that an area that didn't have a lot in it. How does about 15 or 20 feet behind the information desk (I am assuming that things will be set up like they were last year)
Maybe shoot for a 12:30 or 1:00 time frame?
