My parents were looking to move recently and found a great piece of land, but when they read the street sign, decided they didn't want to live on "Cyanide Road."

I grew up on "Happiness Dr." in Colorado Springs. I was pretty happy, so I guess I got blessed with a street name like that.

Some of these are so funny. The one that sticks out to me in this town is Udderback Rd.

Uvalde, Texas, has some streets like that around their 4 block town center where some of the city and county offices are and the post office and one block is a park. In my home city of Crystal City, TX, we had two streets that ran north and south on each side of the railroad. One was West Zavala and the other was East Zavala.

I used to work for a telephone company that served Hyden, Kentucky. Apparently in this town there is a street called "Hell for Certain Road" where several of our customers lived. One day I got up the nerve to ask one of them who called in if the road was aptly named. Without pause the lady said, "Yep, sure is, and the devil lives right next door!" That kept me laughing for the rest of the day!

I grew up in Grand Junction. We lived on F 5/8 road. Irritates my husband when I tell him. He insists you can't have a fraction of a letter of the alphabet :lol:

Here in Magna, UT our neighborhood is on the old rodeo grounds. So we have Salt Lick Circle and Tail Trail :) :)
