My mother's fabric and notions and all of her other belongings are now priced and arranged for the big sale tomorrow. My sister came down from CT to help me or I could never have gotten it done. To those who responded to my listing of a Featherweight .....First of all, I am sorry that I am so late in responding. While researching the featherweight I found that the machine was manufactured on my birthday. It seemed like fate that I should keep it instead of selling it. So I am. (Did you know that you can email the model and SN to Singer and they will verify that it is a genuine featherweight and give the date it was made?) Thanks to all that responded. We have been working some 12 hour days and are so tired and sore - we aren't used to being on our feet that long. Thanks again.
