A lot of the old black Singer machines were "rebranded" with different names. You need to look at pictures of vintage Singers to find out which model you have. I think it's a model 66, but I'm not an expert.

It looks like it threads like my Singer 15-91...check out the threading diagrams for some of the old singers and you will find the right one.

You have a Japanese 15 and it looks lie it will clean up really nice. There were hundreds of badged Japanese 15's made through the years and they are still making them as we speak!

Does it have any markings on the underside? If it does then please post photos and the details of the markings!

Thank you all! Billy, I don't know if it has any markings as I don't have it in my possession yet. My DDIL grabbed it for me! I searched the internet and could find nothing about a Cromwell Sewing Machine. Any idea of what decade it may have been from?

I am going go with the 60's sometime by looking at the drop feed dog knob.

You will find out that this machine is one of the nicest to use for FMQing. I have a Universal 15 that is my go to machine!

Toss it in a treadle and you will be in love!!!
