    Hello everyone! I have been lurking and enjoying your posts for the past 2 week. I am an accidental quilter who got hooked on a dare 3 years ago. My friend who lives upstate NY suggested we both do Eleanor Burn's Card trick. I read the instructions but forgot that clothing has a 5/8 seam while quilts need only 1/4. The seam ripper got a workout that night. Since then I have made several quilt tops and even machine quilted them on a long arm machine. I enjoy this craft but there is not enough hours to play with my fabrics! Thank you for letting me ramble!

    Welcome to the Quilting Board. Personally, I enjoy reading the stories that people post about how that started quilting and such. It's one of the many things that keeps me checking in on the QB nearly every day.
