Another TX gal wanting to get involved with some quilters. I've been retired for a few years fron a hospital and wonder how any of us ever have time to work. I work off and on on several quilting projects and seem to get involved with new ones before finishing existing ones.

Thanks for the reply ladies. I'm at the top of Texas - north east of Amarillo in a smallish town. The wind and dirt blow and the lanscape is flat. I like all kind of quilts and really do like the folk art kind of things. I have been making baby quilts and wall hangings but ned to finish up some large ones before anything new.

Hi MarMar, sorry I didn't get to talk with you long in chat yesterday, the storms worry us all a little now, don't they? I'm sure glad I got off when I did, lightning was popping everywhere.

Soon we'll be able to talk longer, I hope!

Thanks for the heads up, Sharon. Are you near Winston Salem? I have family in VA across the river from DC and that is a pretty area but has grown so fast that traffic is the pits.

Helle! I envy you. If I only had more time! I had my work hours cut in half today and I'm sew happy! More quilting time for me!

I posted this question in another area.....new to this.
Can anyone tell me where to find Roxanne's Glue Baste it withteh syringe tip? If I purchase it from Roxanne's it is $14 with shipping. This is twice as much as the glue which usually sells for $7 to $8.
Thanks for your help.
