    my grand daughter loved the idea of the inside of the bow tucks that I make.. however she wanted a different shape.
    she described something in between a hobo and a messenger bag.(she did not want the flap), with a long strap.
    oh and she requested batman... she is 13 and in the 8th grade. I said ok sweetie..I looked and I did not care for the cartoon fabric. the way I looked at it . I felt she would use it a few times and then poof... so I found this fabric with the batman emblems on it and I added the
    embroidery patch to give it that look,, whatever that look is !

    Looks great to me! And you're probably right about the fabric choice, she wouldn't want to use the cartoon fabric very long. She'll use this longer! :thumbup:

    i see you live in fayetteville.. when my hubby was in the army i lived there for two years.. we lived in an old neighborhood on ruth street... i can see it all very clearly !
