    Hello!

I'm not exactly sure how I ran across this board, but I'm so glad I did! I look at Quilting sites/links often and when I saw this one, I was hooked. Everyone here seems so talented, creative, and even willing to share your knowledge.

I may have to take time off work, just to sit and read all the postings.
I am new to quilting and have so much to learn. I've sewn for quite some time, and even grew up around quilting, but was too silly to pay attention then. Now that I'm older and my daughter is grown, I wish that I had paid more attention to my mother as she worked on her quilts all those years.

I look forward to "meeting" everyone!. Thanks!

Welcome! You're right, this is a great "family"! We can do a little bragging, complaining, sharing grief, a great deal of encouragement, sharing and enjoyment of eye-popping, green with envy inducing quilts!

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Quilters are just good people. Honestly, doesn't that seem to be the case most of the time?

    Thanks again.
