Hi Babs, Hubbie and I live in Ca. also. It's not so bad, when you can still hide out in a quilting area called "Your little corner of the world." Do you know where Twain Harte, is? Well that's heaven on earth for us. Now I don't worry about the quilt police, but I do worry about Big Brother sometimes.Hang in there. Love Glo

Remember to have fun!!! This is a great place, in fact can be so interesting that you can easily pass the "day" before you know it and then no time to quilt, wealth of information, and great people. Welcome from MO.

Thanls fo rfor reminding me to have fun ! I get so `involved` in staring and I do mean staring at such beautiful fabrics that i loose sight of what i`m doing. Do you have a favorite pattern? or block? I`m so learning the lingo, that I may sound silly! Thanks for the welcome, rosie

I do know where Twain harte is -- haven't been there though. It is so beautiful in the foothills and Sierras of our state, and of course so close to Yosemite
