Yes, I've made it and I also found the pattern at my fabric store. I will try to post a picture now. I didn't pick out very good colors because I really didn't think I would be able to make it, but once it was done I really liked it. I added a faux binding instead. I had to piece the back and I don't do any fancy quilting so I only did the stitch in the ditch.

I bought this pattern in the fall and It was really fun to make. It is all bias so be sure to use spray starch when making this to give the pieces structure. (So the bias doesn't get distorted.) I love your version. Beautiful choices on your fabric and on your quilting.

Your's is very nice. Nothing wrong with a pieced backing. I do that all the time. Sometimes I even piece 1 1/2" strips together and have a wild backside. That's what is crazy about quilting. All fun. Can you give me a hint on how to start the topper? I can't really figure out how to start. A mental b lock, I think. Thanks for your help.

What is a faux binding? Your topper is beautiful and nothing looks "faux" to me!
