Gift "box"

I did mine 10x10 and used warm n white adhesive sprayed to the top side and an iron on interfacing on the bottom, it worked well. The idea of thinsulate would be good too, or you could put the quilted potholder stuff, not sure what it is called, on one side to put hot pans in and fabric on the outside. I think the "warm tater" cotton would work too.

Those are beautiful, simple to make and have a million uses. They would be great ideas for teacher gifts. They could put them right on their desks to organize.

The original video said to use grosgrain ribbon. I only had regular ribbons on hand. I'm going to use fray-check on the ends to keep them from unraveling.
You can make any size box you want....and adjust the sides to what size suits you. I refolded my fat-quarters to make them fit nicely.
ENJOY!

I saw that too! Thought it was a great idea. I was also thinking that you could make the sides higher by putting the ribbon more that 2" in from the sides. I plan on making some for my daughters apartment. She loves boxes and baskets.
