I held a little 4 day get away retreat with some quilting friends in Oceanside. It was very relaxing and productive for me.

I did 3 cuddle quilts for guild project that are donated to woman's shelter. Finish binding on scrap quilt. Made dent in pinwheel blocks for second scrap quilt. Completed BOM for quilt guild and round one of IRR block.

It was the first time I tried FMQ on my machine after my friend showed me it could be done. It will be easier with a darning foot.

I really can get some sewing done with no computer to look at everyone else's work.

I am so happy and trying to not think about going back to work tomorrow.

So glad you had a great - and productive time. Your quilts are so pretty. Am sure they will be appreciated by the recipients.

    Thank you for the complements.

We had room for another for a couple of days. So let me know when you get here. I am a member of Sunshine Quilters Guild. They also have a great one. I hope to go to that one next spring.

Certainly was a productive retreat for you. Did you eat or sleep??? Wish I could whiz through the work like this. Just re-read your post. That's your secret :- no computer.
