I taught my first Spicy Spiral Table runner class yesterday. It went fabulous, and the students loved how this runner was so easy to make. All 18 in the class finished the top. The experienced quilters finished it very quick, and the newer quilters finished about an hour later. But all were very glad they took the class rather than to just read the pattern and make it by themselves... Here are 3 pictures, but if you want to see more of the colorways, there are a dozen photos on my blog today.

Very nice and fun pattern! But... I have to ask how you finish them. Cut off the points so it curves without the jagged edges? Hopefully?

Love this pattern. I bought it and now have to get the ruler. I can't wait to try this one for myself. Hope I can finish one by Thanksgiving. Thanks for sharing the pics.

The runner finishes with a smooth edge after it is turned. The jagged edges are trimmed off during the final layering with the backing and batting process. I call it pillowcasing, but others may call it something different.
