Some of my wall pieces. The tyvek is the stuff used for insulation around houses. You hold an iron above a piece and it will start to bubble as it melts. Keep the iron about an inch above the tyvek. Then paint with acrylic paint to make it look like rocks.
I taught the silhouette class at our state meeting a few years ago. Its cut like a snowflake then fused and stitched around.
Thread flowers was a challenge quilt, we were to look for a greeting card and then interpret it in fabric. I thread painted the flowers after painting in with crayon.

Those are beautifal. I love the tyvek look. Never would have thought of doing that. You're very talented. Love your work.

Oh wow, these are beautiful. I wish I know how to thread paint. My brain is tired from carrying around all these pictures in my head I dream up.
