We woke up to a ton of snow yesterday. Wow! Our area does this once every ten years or so on an average. It has been fifteen years since the last time it snowed like this. I hope the weather does not make up for missing the schedule. My hubby fell on his back in a water puddle in the hall at a business down town. He is limping and every muscle in his body hurts. We are lucky he did not break his hip. He has done that three times already. When he falls he does not bounce.

Jimmie

Hope your husband feels better soon, Jimmie... and that he's really careful next time!

Who would'a known that a puddle could be so dangerous?

WOW on the snow in your area. We are having rain but this is pretty typical for us here on the coast. The ice is really bad though. Hope your hubby will be ok. I hate falling too.

Hope your hubby feels better. I am really wondering what this winter is going to be like. We haven't had this much snow this soon in a loooong time also.

Oh my gosh, mom of 3. Sound like your hubby and mine are related. My hubby just passed a test and received a certificate of safety using ladders when he fell off a ladder and broke his second hip. We were lucky. If he had fallen a few inches over he would have gone through my glass display case. Could have killed himself. I told him I would kick butt if he did that again. lol while crying

Thank you. The medics said it was his boots. Good for any terrain but wet. They work like ice skates on wet floors. My baby need new boots.

No snow in Alaska? How did you do that? I thought Alaska was the snow capitol of the world.

Sounds like you are from our area. If you are then you know how good our weather usually treats us. Except once in a while we get this

I live about 1 hr. drive from you. The drifts around here are 3 ft. deep. No school today. :-D
