Hi:
I am new to the forum. I am from Tennessee and am enjoying reading your comments. I remember a little of my mothers quilting bees and in later years wanted to make quilts also. I have a good imagination and make my own quilt patterns. I cannot do real fancy quilts yet, but like the old pioneer day patterns. I am willing to learn new ways though.

So where in TN is everyone from? I live in Karns right off the Oak Ridge Highway. I'm planning on attending the Smokey Mountain Quilt Guild next month and I really can't wait.

I'd say having a good imagination is an excellent quality in a quilter!

I wish I did. (OK, in the creating quilts area, not in the "Oh no, why does my manager want me to see her?" area.)

How great is this??? I live in Northwest Middle Tennessee close to Clarksville. Where else could people with a common interest who live across such a long state meet but on the internet.
I love to read about where everyone is from, their backgrounds, and how their interest in quilting was sparked.
