What do you think is the cutest fabric for a newborn baby boy?
I want to do a super quick, super simple sew quilt and thought the way to make it look special is through the best fabrics. Despite the rush in putting it together, I still want it to be sepcial. Any suggestions?

the bold color batiks could work well and last longer. it all just depends on the colors and theme that the parents are using. you could also just find a nice panel and add a few boarders to get it to the right size.

I love Bazooples from Fabric.com. It's nice and bright with pastels, too. You can use so many complimentary colors with it.

I need to make a baby quilt for a great grandson due late January. I'm rather partial to teddy bears or trains, but I haven't started it yet.

Thomas the Train, Noah's Ark, there's just so many that perhaps you'd be better off designing it to go with the theme of the nursery. Although not everyone has a "themed" nursery. I didn't because I wanted to be able to use anything that anyone gave me. There's a picture on here somewhere that shows a Wiggly Worm quilt that's beautiful. It could be done in a variety of boy colored fabrics.

I just finished an Old McDonald's Farm themed quilt with alternating embroidered blocks and pinwheel pieced ones.

I'm pretty sure Riley Blake had some cute boy designs. Also I just saw a line called Little Menagerie that is really cute on this blog:
