I'd keep it and make another one for my child. How often do we keep our work? We deserve to keep something. So my vote is to enjoy it at your home. :o)

I can totally understand why that is hard to give up!! I LOVE that fabric. Here is the quilt top I started about 5 years ago!! I guess I had better finish it!!!
