Goodness, gracious, sakes-alive! So many pieces! Don't be hiding this one with presents. Just super! I'd go with red - but I favor it. Getting me to work with green is not easy.

Maybe we're showing our age here, but I never saw a tree skirt untill after I started quilting.Have made 3 of them & both DDs still use them.Mom used a white sheet....so did I.Now I put the tree skirt on a round table & use a white sheet under our tree.
This skirt is so pretty....looks like strip piecing.

Then when I was in grade school we had a terrible house fire on christmas eve, Lost darn near everything. anyway the red cross gave our family a couple of quilts.
In the following years mom would fetch the quilt from the red cross and very carefully arrange it under the tree. It was an old crazy quilt(I wish I knew what happened to it,it was really old then) anyway the crazy quilt looked so beautiful around the tree and I can still see mom arranging it just right. Maybe this is how tree skirts came about.Just thought I would share a little Christmas memory that came to mind.

I really like this tree skirt Ditter!
