    Remember I'm not real experienced so please make the ideas simple, lol.
    The fabric is a hawk fabric print.

    I would suggest SID in the star, between the blocks and along the borders. Echo quilting inside each star point and small meander (stipple) around each star. Larger meander in the "hawk" border pieces and SID and echoes inside each HST in the middle border. (JMHO)

    Your quilts are fabulous and I like the Native American flair they have! The hawk fabric looks great like that and then in the border....good job
    OH and I'm not a quilter I'm a "topper" so I can't help there!

    One of my stack n whacks that I had quilted the laq did about 3 different size circles in the block. Then she did some fm quilting in the background pieces. It turned out nice and the I thought the circles were really great in the blocks. Small circle in the center then circled by a larger circle then another.

    lovely for sure. I agree with Silviak. I think it will make your quilt pop.

    I did this same pattern and for quilting...I stitched 1/4 inch inside the stack 'n whack piece.....

    Very nice quilt

    Can't help with quilting design, but this is a stunning design. Who would have thought this fabric would result in such a stunning design? Do post the completed quilt !
