but to me it is huge. My dd lives in NYC and actually went shopping at a quilt shop (The City Quilter) and bought me fat quarters and new scissors. She didn't even know what a fat quarter was. They are all NYC fabrics and I plan to make a wallhanging for my quilt studio. She said she actually made two trips to the store. The scissors were $20 cheaper on amazon so she took them back and spent the money buying me more things that should arrive today. When she gets home, she is also going to send me some photos that she took of the city. Her photography is awesome and I plan on using them in the quilt.

It did mean so much to me because she went out of her way to get something especially for me. Aren't those fabrics so cute. Love them.

I know how much my mom would appreciate a gift such as this so I can only imagine how much you do :) from a daughter's perspective, it probably meant the world to her to make you smile that much :)

You have an awesome DD!!! She really loves her Mom!! 1 of the things i love about my stash is that bits and pieces of it has come from all over the US.
