have a look at leshop.ch its the onlineshop of one of the most popular grocery chain in switzerland. The prices are the same than in the shops, you just have to pay a fee that they deliver it.
A liter is 0.26 Gallons and a Kilo 2.2 pounds.

Wow, I just got home from Joanns with a big sack of fabric gripping to myself because HOW COULD I SPEND OVER 50 DOLLARS WHEN MOST EVERYTHING WAS 70%OFF AND ANOTHER 20% OFF AT THE CASH REGISTER. (my DH is not going to BUY ANY OF THAT EXPLANATION!) Gee wait until I tell him what you spent, it might get me out of the doghouse. We are sooooooooo spoiled here in the USA when it comes to fabrics. Wish we could get some to you!

Yummy, Gorgeous colours, you'll love working with them! To heck with the cost, it will just make the finished product more wonderful. I hope you post a photograph, it will be a great treat to see those colours in a whole quilt. What pattern will you use.

That's why you need to place a BIG order when shopping online, to make the postage worthwhile ;-) I order batting from Hancocks these days - it's way cheaper and makes the postage worthwhile.

I am so sorry that fabric is expensive in Switzerland. There has to be a way around this!
