Just curious... how many of you have any "southwest" fabric in your stash?

And are you actually in the southwest?

I have a bunch to do a southwest cactus at sunset wall hanging. Of course, I have way more than I will need! One of these days I will figure out where I put it and get started on it

funny you should ask....I just finished a Warm Wishes quilt done with a really cool Native American fabric from ( of all places) Walmart!! It is a birthday gift for a friends Mom who will turn 90 in a month and is part Cherokee Indian....she's going to LOVE IT.....

My stash has as many SW fabrics (batiks are my favorites) as I can find. My favorites have petroglyphs/pictographs but any good print will do.

My home is in N Texas or Oklahoma City but the high desert is calling.

does Texas or Southern Colorado qualify for living in the Southwest?

I do not buy Southwest themed fabrics. It is a style that does not appeal to anyone I sew for . I am in the Midwest.

I would love to find some fabric with kokopelli on it as my sister loves these little guys and I live in Canada! Someone on the board recently made a bow tuck with this type of fabric.

I'll send a link to you in a PM. I searched this morning and found some really beautiful batiks.
