I know it seems to take a long time, but take courage. Dresdens actually come together quickly. These fabrics are beautiful.

Yes, I think the centers will be all the same. When I get the plates done, I'm planning on taking them to the LQS to pick out the centers (don't think I have just the right fabric in my stash)

I think I'm making pretty good progress so far; I've got 52 plates done and only 12 more to go. Then I will start appliqueing them onto the background squares...

Ah, yes, Missouri Quilt Company's tute is to blame for me wanting to start this project in the first place--I had seen their tutorial and decided I HAD to do this quilt with some of the fabrics I had been collecting!!!
