That is just beautiful. I would do raw edge applique. Those leaves are the perfect touch for that quilt. Great job.

What a gorgeous quilt. I am just starting applique so I can't geive you any advice there but I just love this quilt.

What a gorgeous piece of work! I just love this & Fall is a perfect Season. Regardless of how you finish the top, it will def. be a stunner! Thanks for sharing.

I can't decide. :roll:


Decided on the raw edge applique and sewing a few "veins" in the leaves.
Very time consuming. I have 6 leaves done with 10 more to go!
Then on to the center block....

I sketched some leaves out on paper & picked the one I liked best.
It REALLY helped with the realistic look that I used batiks for the leaves.
