Hello from Dallas, Texas. Originally from South Bend, Indiana. New to quilting but totally in love with paper piecing. Have been to a couple quilt guild meetings and found wonderful people to talk to. Retired. Still raising grandchildren, one in college, one in high school. Love reading the entries here.

I watch my grandsons (ages 3 and 5) every afternoon....so in about an hour I am going to their house to play video games and do Hooked on Phonics. :-)

Ahhhhh, I remember "Hooked on Phonics" very well from my days as a young mother. I give it a total thumbs up. Have an excellent day. It is "chilly" here but we have sunshine.

Hey, Fort Worth: Maybe we'll meet up on the Trinity Train one day. I really like the looks of Fort Worth. Wondering if you have lots of quilt shops there or whether you are a "JoAnn's" person???
