    Yea :!: :-P It's done. I just spent 2 hours hand-stitching the binding to the quilt. The pics don't really do it justice. Wish you could feel it. For those of you who haven't been keeping up with this, it is for my DDIL who asked for something made with the rest of her silk from the wedding gown I made her 20 years ago. The white around the edge is from her gown, the rest of the silk I have been collecting. When I saw the twister pattern I decided that was what I wanted to do. The batting is silk/bamboo. The backing is silk/rayon velvet.

    beautiful...love the rounded corners on the binding too. Was that easy to do?
