I've named your piece 'Voodoo Ladies'. It's really bad.

I like this too in small quantities and have some coordinating fabrics to go with it! We must have acquired it around the same time.

I didn't hesitate as to which fabric I'd just HAVE to enter.

My Grandmother, God love her, had given me her collection of fabric about a year ago.

This was one of the "gems" that I found.
She passed away in December.
I kind of regret not having asked her what she had in mind
when she purchased six (yes, SIX) yards of this beauty.

For scale, I've placed my 8" scissors on the fabric.

It reminds me of something that would have been a hit in the Miami Vice era..
just need a few pastel tank tops and white linen jackets.
With 6 yards could a One Block Wonder be in your future with this fabric - it never looks like the original fabric once it's completed??

how much of the voodoo fabric do you have, and how big are those faces?

I think I have an idea ..... :)

As a child of the 50-60's, that looks like a fine sun dress to me! tee hee

When my DMIL was visiting this summer, we cut up a few repeats to do a 4 patch stack and whack. (There weren't enough repeats to do 8 cuts.)

There may be still be enough for a OBW - but I just can't past the colors...
If I were to put that much effort into it, I'd want to enjoy the fabric!
I'm not a "peachy" color person. :(

I actually really like this fabric. I'm making a churn dash out of this same fabric. LOL I'm using brown and green with it. I'll share pics when its finished. The saying is so true "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"
