Boo Hoo. Just read this in newest McCalls Quilting magazine, they closed earlier this year, and I only live a few minles from there. Have not been there for awhile and thier closing really has made me sad. They were great!

Helen,
I don't know if this will help or not, but there is a new shop at 2500 E Orchard that is open. It's called Snappy Quilts. I wandered in there a couple of days ago and the staff is very nice. The fabric lines are bright and happy fabrics.

   So sad. I used to shop there all the time when I lived in CO. I also made a point of going there everytime I visited. I wonder why they didn't sell it as opposed to closing it completely?

The owners retired and wonder why or if it was for sale. Perhaps inventory made buying it prohibitive. What a loss and I am sad. Not sure of they are still publishing or writing books.
