My DGD just turned 4 in February. She has always liked to "color and cut". Today she was with me and she was asking me what colors made other colors when put together....sooooo I had just purchased the Magic Color Book and I pulled it out. The first things she noticed as I flipped thru the book were the Color Wheels. When she saw the blank color wheel, she immediately wanted to color it. I made her several copies on the printer and let her go. Wow, I was major impressed with the colors she chose and the order in which she colored the wheel. And she wasn't referring to my book either!! She loves to cut ribbon and glue it on blank pages to make designs. I've told her we will start cutting fabric and lettng her do the same with it. I'm going to have a little sewer/quilter yet. :)

You are certainly laying good foundations...not to mention a valuable learning and creative experience. Unfortunately many small people are missing out on these important steps to learning.

oh, yes, grandma, you keep encouraging that little one, and we'll welcome her to our community with open arms as she grows up!!! My DD (13) and DS (11.5) are both into jewelry making (with the nice glass beads now, and wirework!), scrapbooking, making our own unique wrapping paper for special gifts, sewing, quilting, and crocheting! My DS also knows how to knit better than me :D

Awww that is awesome!! My daughter Izzy loves colors and one of the first things that entertained her was what colors mixed made what colors (she knows more of this than I do at this point lol)
Keep on encouraging that artistic spirit!
