Jan in VA

Hi all,
We are planning a gathering of QBers in Harrisonburg, VA, at the Virginia Quilt Museumon Saturday, Aug. 20. To be followed by lunch together at a local restaurant where we'll eat, visit, have Show and Tell and exchanges, and then go south a short distance to the Patchwork Plus quilt shop in Dayton, VA, for shopping and exploring.

We are hoping for a large attendance of VA, NC, WV, and any other, quilters who want a lovely weekend trip. We plan to be at the museum in the morning -- time to be determined -- and leave for the quilt shop by 2pm-ish after lunch.

So far, this date of August 20 is the best date until the end of the first week in October to gather, as the college students at James Madison Univ. will be over-running the town of Harrisonburg getting settled into their new year.

Please let Jan in VA know by PM if you WILL BE ATTENDING so we can make arrangements with all the locations to acommodate us. :-D

Please let Jan in VA know if you WANT to gather but can NOT make it that date and would rather do so in October. If we have many of these, we will make an effort to change the date of gathering to serve the majority of us. :-D

I've wanted to do this for so long, but have had family responsibilities that prevented my being away for a full day. NOW I can, and I'm SO looking forward to meetiing and playing and "telling" and shopping with you all!! :thumbup: :thumbup:

We'll take responses through the weekend of August 7, so I can get back to everybody in a timely manner.
